this attachment does seem to do what it's supposed to -- allow the zoom on your camera to go closer in on your subject. however, the photos don't seem to be as clear as they normally would have been without the attachment. but what do you expect from something so cheap? i actually purchased this when it was for , so for the price now, i'd recommend it, unless you have the money to go for a REAL zoom lens, this should do.

Quality Construction
This lens is impressively built. I will have to learn how to use it, in that it functions perfectly with my zoom lens thru about mid focus, but will not clear focus at maximum, nor will the camera take a picture at full focus. Due to the impressive construction of this lens, as of now, I will have to assume, since I am new at DSLRing, that the incomplete focusing is due to my lack of knowledge.
